Addressing the event, president of the Argentina-VietnamCulture Institute Poldi Sosa recalled the fierce fighting in the 1960sand 1970s in Vietnam’s resistance war against the US.
Sheasserted with the resilient fighting spirit and great patriotism,Vietnamese people succeeded in safeguarding the country’s independence,sovereignty and territorial integrity. She stressed that more than 3.4million Vietnamese people laid down their lives for nationalindependence.
Speaking at the event, arepresentative from the Vietnamese Embassy praised the support ofArgentinean people to the Vietnamese people’s liberation cause in thepast and national construction at present.
Two movies titled “Mua Xuan nam 1975” (Spring 1975) and “Chao mung toiVietnam” (Welcome to Vietnam) were screened at the event.
