Workshop honours value of Vietnamese, Cuban revolutionary leaders’ ideologies
The eternal value of the ideologies of President Ho Chi Minh and President Fidel Castro has been confirmed at a recent workshop held in Havana by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Nico Lopez High-Level Party School of Cuba.

Havana (VNA) – The eternal value of the ideologies of President Ho Chi Minhand President Fidel Castro has been confirmed at a recent workshopheld in Havana by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Nico Lopez High-Level Party Schoolof Cuba.
Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Central Committee VictorGaute Lopez affirmed that the political ideologies of Ho Chi Minh and Fidel Castro are the endless source of knowledgefor progressive and revolutionary movements in the world.
GauteLopez also highlighted important milestones in the close relations betweenVietnam and his country in the last six decades.
During the workshop, Vietnamese and Cuban speakers introduced their research onthe ideologies of the two revolutionary leaders on various aspect, from personneltraining, the cultural and historic roots of the revolutions of Vietnam andCuba; to the Ho Chi Minh ideology as the foundation of Vietnam's Doi Moi(Renewal) and Fidel Castro's thought as the orientation of Cuba’s process ofupdating socio-economic model.
NguyenViet Thao, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi MinhNational Academy of Politics, said that presentations delivered at theevent vividly demonstrated that the visions of President Ho Chi Minh andrevolutionary leader Fidel Castro on issues related to economics, culture,society, national defense, security and Party building are still relevant inthe current situation.
During the working visit in Cuba from September 16-20, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics hadmeetings with Gaute López and representatives from the Office of Historical Affairs of the Cuban State Council, andthe Centre for José Martí Studies.-VNA
