The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank (LPBank) on June 12 signed a financing package of up to 80 million USD to expand access to finance for a women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (WSMEs) project in Vietnam.
Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended and addressed the opening of the Global Summit of Women 2023 themed “Women: Leading a New Climate of Change” in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on May 4.

Women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses are an important growth engine of not only Vietnam’s economy but also the global economy, said Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc.
