Winners of photo contest “Resilient Vietnam” honoured

The Vietnam Public Relations Network (VNPR) on October 10 honoured winners of the photo contest “Resilient Vietnam,” which aims to capture how Vietnamese people resiliently fight COVID-19.

HCM City (VNA) – The Vietnam Public RelationsNetwork (VNPR) on October 10 honoured winners of the photo contest “ResilientVietnam,” which aims to capture how Vietnamese people resiliently fightCOVID-19.

The winning works were selected from about 1,000 entries by350 professional photographers from across the country.

Six photographers were awarded in two categories –professional photos and mobile phone photos – while one “Inspirer” award was presented to photographer Nguyen A fromHo Chi Minh City.

The competition promotes photography arts and moreimportantly, uses photography to tell stories about Vietnam in the time ofCOVID-19 in a very lively way and full of respect and gratitude, VNPR PresidentNguyen Khoa My told the award ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City.

Exhibition of the winning works is underway at the HCM City’sYouth Culture Centre until October 11. They will also be displayed on the bigscreen in Times Squares, the US’s New York City./.

🌌 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
