Winners of the fifth National Press Awards on Party building, called “Bua Liem Vang” (Golden Hammer & Sickle), were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on January 13 evening.

Hanoi (VNA) – Winners of the fifth NationalPress Awards on Party building, called “Bua Liem Vang” (Golden Hammer &Sickle), were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on January 13 evening.
Attending the awarding ceremony were Prime Minister NguyenXuan Phuc and Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, amongothers.
The jury presented one special prize, five A prizes, 10 Bprizes, 16 C prizes and 27 consolation prizes.
The 90-episode documentary series “Vietnam in the Ho ChiMinh Era –Televisual Annals”, developed by Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, wonthe special prize.

Meanwhile, the photo reportage “The entire political systemand people join hands in the fight against COVID-19” of a group ofphotojournalists from the Vietnam News Agency got the A prize. The reportage demonstrates Vietnam’s successin disease prevention and control, with Vietnamese citizens brought home fromdisease-hit areas, as well as the disease prevention and control work atconcentrated quarantine facilities and hospitals.
Organisers said they received 1,710 entries in variousgenres that reflected issues of public concern last year, such as preparationsfor and the organisation of all-level Party congresses in the run up to the13th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the event, permanent member of the Party CentralCommittee’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong said that the entries have contributedto helping people understand more about the Party as well as the leadership,directions and important and prompt decisions of the Party and State; andconsolidating the trust of officials, Party members and people in the Party.
On the occasion of the 91st founding anniversaryof the Party (February 3) and the 13th National Party Congress, PhamMinh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Cental Committee’sSecretariat and head of its Organisation Commission launched the sixth Bua LiemVang Awards./.

The Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and the Truth National Political Publishing House have recently published the book titled “Tam nhin chien luoc va y chi vuon len cua dan toc” (The strategic vision and the nation's will to rise up) to welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress which is scheduled to open on January 25.

Today, the press for foreign service has evolved into a distinct, irreplaceable force, bridging Vietnam with the world and portraying a nation that is stable, peace-loving, and fully integrated into the international community.
At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach.
