Hanoi (VNA) 🦩– The Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU Hanoi) and China’s Tsinghua University are set to deepen their academic ties with the signing of a student exchange agreement, building on their memorandum of understanding (MoU) on comprehensive cooperation signed in August 2024.

The deal offers tuition-free exchanges with credits fully recognised, plus housing, healthcare, and language support, fostering a multicultural experience that opens doors to new friendship and career prospects. Looking ahead, the partnership will introduce executive management training courses tailored for Vietnamese business leaders and Government officials. Additionally, research collaboration will expand into cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), information technology, and new materials.

The details of this partnership were unveiled at an international workshop in Hanoi in March 1, where academics, researchers, and education managers from both countries mapped out the future of Vietnam-China higher education in the 21st century’s digital intelligence era.

The event served as a vibrant academic forum, delving into how AI can transform higher education, and exploring solutions to ensure the sustainable and effective development of higher education systems in the modern era.
