The four works were taken byLe Kinh Tai, Deputy Head of the Digital photography club in Ho Chi Minh City andRichard Streitmatter–Tran. Two of them, “Obsession 2” and “Victory” werehonoured with international photography awards in Austria in 2000.
The“Emerging Wave” photography exhibition gathers the best works by photographersfrom across ASEAN and the RoK.
While addressing the opening ceremony, theVietnamese Ambassador to the RoK, Tran Trong Toan, said that besides givingphotographers the chance to meet with each other, the exhibition provides a goodopportunity to bring people from ASEAN countries and the RoK closer together.
After Seoul , the exhibition will move to the southern coastal city ofPusan from June 18 until August 8./.

For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
