Ha Noi (VNA)🅺 – The Vietnam International Travel Mart – VITM Hanoi 2016 will be opened in Hanoi from April 14-17, organisers announced on February 19.

Themed “Vietnam – The paradise of sea and island tourism”, this year’s event will introduce to visitors thousands of the country’s tourism products in general and sea and island tourism in particular.
The annual fair aims to draw more international tourists to Vietnam as well as increase the number of domestic visitors to sea and island areas.  VITM Hanoi 2016 is set to boost three sectors of tourism - Inbound, Domestic & Outbound.
With a population of over 90 million, Vietnam has become an emerging outbound market. More than 5 million Vietnamese travel overseas annually, representing a growth rate of 15 percent. Many countries have eyed Vietnam as their new source market.  Within the framework of the event, there will be seminars and conferences focusing on improving professionalism in the field and promoting Vietnam’s seas and islands. It has been held by the Vietnam Tourism Association in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the municipal People’s Committee since 2013.-VNA
