VITM 2018 to highlight hi-tech tourism

Hanoi (VNA) 🌳- The sixth Vietnam InternationalTravel Mart – VITM Hanoi 2018 – will take place at the Hanoi FriendshipCultural Palace on 91 Tran Hung Dao St from March 29 to April 1, the VietnamTourism Association announced on February 5.

Themed “Online travel, Vietnam tourism looks toward the fourthindustrial revolution,” the event aims to encourage travel firms to promptlyapply modern technology to sell their products, thus promoting their capacityto attract and serve customers online. The event will have 500 pavilions.

🎉 Major activities will include seminars on online tourism, an internationalstreet food festival, conferences, introduction of destinations and signingceremonies for several cooperation deals.

More than 40,000 discounted air tickets and 15,000 discountedpackage tours will be on offer at the fair.

🎃 Some 650 businesses from 18 countries and territories, as well as from 43provinces and cities nationwide have so far registered to take part in the VITMHanoi 2018.-VNA
