A Vietnam-Laos trade fair was kicked off in Phonsavanh township in Xiengkhouang province of Laos on October 23 as part of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts in Laos (October 30, 1949 – 2024).

Laos aims to attract at least 4.6 million visitors and earn about 700 million USD during Visit Laos Year 2024, which kicked off in Vientiane on November 23.

The Lao Government, business community and people are making meticulous preparation for the Visit Laos Year 2024 programme, targeting at least 4.6 million domestic and foreign visitors and gain some 712 million USD in tourism revenue.

The Lao Government hopes to attract at least 4.6 million tourists who will generate a revenue of 712 million USD during Visit Laos Year 2024.
