Head coach Park Hang-seoof Vietnam fielded all the three over-aged players right at the start of the match. Nguyen Van Tungscored the only goal of the match from an assist by Ly Cong Hoang Anh, at nearlythe end of the first half. Both teams made numerous substitutions in the second half. The RoK youngsters strivedto equalise but they lacked accuracy.
Theteams had a 1-1 draw in a previous friendly in northern Phu Tho province’s VietTri Stadium three days ago.

The Football Association of Singapore has named 27 players of the men’s under-23 national team who will travel to Vietnam to participate in the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
