Vietnam’s former striker to play for RoK club

Former striker of the national U22 and U23 teams, Nguyen Huu Khoi, signed a one-year contract with the Republic of Korea K3 League team Siheung City FC on January 4.

Hanoi (VNA) - Former striker ofthe national U22 and U23 teams, Nguyen Huu Khoi, signed a one-year contractwith the Republic of Korea K3 League team Siheung City FC on January 4.

“I have signed a contract with SiheungCity. I will play for one year. If I play well, I will get an extension,” Khoisaid.

The K3 League is an amateur footballcompetition in the RoK. Created in 2007, it is considered a fourth-tiercompetition in the RoK’s football.

Siheung City finished second last seasonbehind Jungnang Chorus Mustang FC.

“This will be a very meaningful andinteresting trip. I will learn more and hone my skills before returning home,” Khoisaid.

Khoi, a Thai Binh native who played for DakLak in the National First Division Football Tournament, will leave for the Rok nextmonth.

Khoi was called to the national U22 and U23teams under the guidance of coach Hoang Van Phuc and Toshiya Miura. - VNA
