Thailand’s Nakhon Phanom province has launched a project to welcomeVietnamese youths to the country through an exchange programme.
The programme is also aimed at promoting bilateral relations between the two countries.
said the project provides Vietnamese youths with an opportunity toexchange knowledge and culture with their Thai counterparts, said theprovince's Deputy Governor after presiding over the opening ceremony.
Twenty four youths, with half selected from each of the two countries,will be staying with their host families in Nen Nam Kham village ofNakhon Phanom province before visiting places in Bangkok and itsvicinity.

The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
