– The Vietnamese women’s U19 team secured a berth in the finalround of the 2019 Asian U19 Football Championship in Thailand despite losing 1-2to the Republic of Korea (RoK) on April 30.

Inthe 39th minute, Kim Soo-jin (number 6) opened the score for the RoKin their third match in Group B held in Hanoi, following a mistake ofVietnamese goalie Ngoc Anh.

Afterthe break, the Korean players still made pressure on the Vietnamese rivals. ButVietnamese captain Tuyet Ngan took advantage of a rare chance in the 71st minute to equalize the core.

However,Kim scored the second and final goal for the RoK in the 83rd minute.

Withthe result, Vietnam have the same points and goal difference as Iran. But,Vietnam was give the ticket to the final round thanks to their fair play pointin line with the organiser’s regulations.-VNA
