Hanoi (VNA) – The final round of the first Vietnamese Students’Association in the Republic of Korea (VSAK) E-sports Championships – ICFood Cup2021 was held in the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Chungang university on December25.
The qualifying round took place on December 4-5.
The event aimed at providing a useful playground forVietnamese students in the RoK to meet and make friends with each other, thus helpingenhance solidarity and mutual assistance among them.
Le Thi Thu Huong, VSAK Vice President, said that this eventwill be an important milestone in the innovation of the association’s administrationand organisation of activities.
VSAK wishes to cooperate with individuals and organisationsto expand the tournament scale to the regional and international levels, so asto strengthen connections and exchanges between the Vietnamese studentcommunities around the world./.
The Vietnamese E-sport Championship and the University E-sport Championship will be held annually starting from this year, the Vietnam Recreational E-sport Association (VIRESA) announced on January 13.
