As the Vietnamese community in France prepared for the Year of the Snake 2025, the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Rennes hosted a cultural night to kick off Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations.
Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang attended the event, which marked the start of Tet festivities for the Vietnamese community across France. Student-led performances immersed the audience in the spirit of Tet, celebrating Vietnam’s cultural heritage.
Through music and traditional dances from the North, Central, and South regions, the event showcased national pride and a deep connection to home. Speaking at the opening, the ambassador praised the initiative for preserving traditions and strengthening community bonds during Tet. He wished Vietnamese children and students in Rennes a prosperous new year.

🔜Tet is a time for reunion, tradition, and family. For those far from home, it becomes a way to strengthen community ties, ease homesickness, and celebrate together./.
