Vietnamese students compete in international IT finals

Ten Vietnamese students will compete in the 2017 international programming contest scheduled for August 17 in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Hanoi (VNA) – Ten Vietnamese studentswill compete in the 2017 international programming contest scheduled for August17 in the Republicof Korea (RoK).

They are contestantswith highest scores after the first two rounds of the event held by SamsungElectronics in Vietnam.

The finals in the RoKwill see the competition of 150 participants from India, Vietnam and the hostcountry. They will take a four-hour test.

It is a professionalinternational playground for students to gain more skills and insight intoprogramming, algorithmicproblem-solving, developing ideas, logical thinking and to apply programmingknowledge to real life.

Thisyear, the total value of the contest prize is around 110,000 USD.-VNA
