Vietnamese short film wins award in Singapore

“Vi” (Taste), a film by Vietnamese director Le Bao has won “Most Potential Project” award at the Singapore International Film Festival that took place from November 23 to December 4.

Hanoi (VNA) – “Vi” (Taste), a film by Vietnamesedirector Le Bao has won “Most Potential Project” award at the SingaporeInternational Film Festival that took place from November 23 to December 4.

The film is about Bassley, a Nigerian football player who experiencedmany jobs to earn a living in Ho ChiMinh City with a hope to reunite with his wife andchildren soon.

The short film is only an idea for a long movie but it wasmade carefully by Le Bao and producer Dong Phuong Thao who spent much time to persuadeforeign actors to join the film.

Before being sent to the Singapore International FilmFestival, the film was screened at the Thailand Film Festival in August.-VNA
