Hanoi (VNA) – President Tran Dai Quang on October 3 sent acongratulatory message to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the 27th anniversary of Germany’s National Day (October 3).
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also took the occasion to extendcongratulations to his German counterpart Angela Merkel.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham BinhMinh cabled a message of congratulations to German Minister of Foreign AffairsSigmar Gabriel.-VNA
Vietnam’s consistent policy is to consider Germany its leading important and trusted partner in Europe and hope to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership, affirmed Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has expressed his desire that Germany, as the largest economy and an influential member of the European Union (EU), would help attract global resources into Vietnam.
Prime Minster Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his entourage arrived in Hanoi on July 12 morning, concluding his official working visits to Germany and attendance at the G20 Summit and to the Netherlandsat the invitation of his German and Dutch counterparts Angela Merkel and Mark Rutte from July 5-11.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s trip to Germany and the Netherlands, from July 5-11, was a success with numerous deals between Vietnam and the two countries signed, said a Vietnamese Foreign Ministry official.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Germany held a ceremony in Berlin on August 31 to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution Day (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
Stronger efforts and determination are required to achieve and surpass the set targets, especially in the eradication of makeshift and dilapidated houses nationwide, the acceleration of public investment disbursement, and the implementation of nationally important transport projects, PM Pham Minh Chinh noted.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Long spoke highly of the dynamic, positive, and comprehensive development of Vietnam – Russia relations in recent years. The UN Secretary-General praised Vietnam’s remarkable achievements in socio-economic development and international integration in recent years, noting that the country has emerged as a model in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting international peace and security, and engaging in key UN processes.

The show, together with a grand parade to be held silmutaneously at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day, and the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).
In particular, in April 2023, the two sides successfully carried out a joint operation that dismantled a major organised, transnational drug trafficking ring involving both Vietnamese and Cambodian suspects.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel is closely coordinating with relevant local agencies to stay informed and provide the utmost support possible for Vietnamese nationals.
