Head of the Vietnamese Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung expressed his delight at cooperation outcomes between the two sides, saying their exchange of all-level delegations has borne fruit.
Congratulating the achievements Laos has recorded in socio-economic development, political security and foreign relations, the host pledged that Vietnamese competent agencies will stand side by side with their Lao counterparts to help the neighbouring country successfully perform its ASEAN Chairmanship in 2016.
Minister and Head of the Lao Presidential Office Khammeung Phongthady said his visit demonstrates the close cooperation and mutual support between the two offices.
It aims to strengthen the relationship between the two offices and the time-honored friendship between the two countries in general, he added.
While in Vietnam, Khammeung Phongthady was received by President Tran Dai Quang, who highly appreciated the coordination of the Lao Presidential Office and Khammeung Phongthady himself in preparing for his visit to Laos last June.-VNA
