The two singles matchesended in a draw after Tu Henry Minh Tri went down 1-2 to SankhaAtukorale (7-5, 4-6, 3-6) and Nguyen Dac Tien beat Dhanushka Abeywardena2-0 (6-2, 6-1). Then Tien and Nguyen Nhut Hoang overcame SankhaAtukorale and Dhanushka Abeywardena 2-1 (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) in the doublesmatch.

Vietnam will play against Bangladesh onFebruary 25 and Lebanon on February 26. The teams taking the first andsecond place in this contest will take part in the main round in April.-VNA
