DeputyPrime Minister Vu Duc Dam made this assertion during a meeting withASEAN journalists led by Benny Antirpoda, who are currently on a workingvisit to Vietnam.
He said he hopes the APFwould play an active and outspoken role in contributing to regional andglobal development, peace, and stability, particularly with regard tothe establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.

The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
