NewDelhi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in India on June 26 launched acampaign themed “Looking towards the homeland’s sea and islands.”

The programme aims to promote solidarity amongVietnamese in India and Nepal to protect sea and islands of the homeland. 

At the launching ceremony, the participants,including the embassy staff and officials of other Vietnamese agencies, donatedtheir one day’s salary to support forces who are protecting nationalsovereignty at sea. 

The campaign will last until September,2017.-VNA
