Hong Kong (VNA) –♛ Some 80booths of 40 Vietnamese handicraft and gift firms are showcasing environmentally-friendlyproducts at the Mega Show Hong Kong 2017 held in Hong Kong, China, from October20-23.

Vietnamese handicraft and householdgoods are made of environmentally-friendly materials such as rattan, bamboo,wood, sedge and shells. Vietnamese craftsmen are also producing products right attheir booths. The Mega Show Hong Kong is among the largesttrade fairs in Asia for gifts, household appliances and toys, said Nguyen DuyKien, Deputy Consul-General (in charge of economic-commercial affairs) of theConsulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau. He added that the four-day fair offeredopportunities for businesses to introduce and promote their products tointernational markets, and many Vietnamese firms have secured big export contractsand orders on the first day of the event. The Mega Show Hong Kong 2017 features4,200 businesses from 33 countries and territories. It is expected to receivemore than 50,000 visitors this year.-VNA
