In his remarks, Ambassador Tran Thanh Cong reviewedVietnam’s socio-economic achievements and milestones in the relationshipbetween Vietnam and Egypt over the past time.
The ambassador expressed his hope that the eventswill help Egyptian people understand more about Vietnam and there will be moreexchanges of art troupes between the two countries in the future.
May Mohab, an Egyptian artist, suggested the two nationsenhance cultural ties through art programmes, and cooperation between culturalexperts.
Refaat Khaled, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al Mesanewspaper, said he hopes that Vietnam will reap more attainments, saying thetwo countries should step up collaboration in culture, economy, trade andpolitics. Vietnam and Egypt have ample room to further theirpartnerships, the journalist said.
Visitors to the exhibition were also treated totraditional Vietnamese dishes./.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt organised a seminar in the coastal tourist city of Sharm El Sheikh on October 26 to seek measures to boost cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially economy, investment and tourism.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA) on December 2 held a conference in Cairo to look into the business potential and chances in the field of commodities and logistics, exchanging information, promoting investing and strengthening trade connectivity between the two countries.

This year’s tournament has gathered over 300 coaches, athletes, and referees from 18 countries and territories, competing in 28 combat weight categories and eight performance categories. Vietnam’s team has 50 athletes, including six from Thai Nguyen province.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
