Nearly 3,000 people enthusiastically enjoyed the “ExperiencingVietnam” event, which was held in Prague, the Czech Republic, on May 21.
It is one of the main activities of the ‘The Yearof Vietnamese Culture in the Czech Republic’ programme and is part ofthe 65 events marking the 65th anniversary of Vietnam-Czech diplomaticrelations.
Vietnamese companies erected 40 boothsdisplaying, introducing and selling made-in-Vietnam handicraft productsand packaged food. Traditional dishes and coffee drew a big crowd.
In addition, folk songs, dances, traditional music, ao dai (Vietnamesetraditional dress), and ethnic minority costumes are also a magnet foraudiences.
Vietnam’s Ambassador to the CzechRepublic Truong Manh Son said the event looks to help Czech peopleexplore and experience some of Vietnam’s natural beauty, customs, andculture demonstrated by the Vietnamese community in the host country.-VNA

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
