Vietnamese Ambassador to Moldova Nguyen Minh Tri has presented his credentials to Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti.
In a reception for the diplomat on October 8 following thepresentation, the President highlighted the traditional friendshipbetween the two nations and showed his appreciation of Vietnam.
The President said bilateral economic cooperation had not yet met itsfull potential. He hoped the two countries’ ministries and sectors wouldaccelerate ties with a view to satisfying demand and benefitting theirpeople for the sake of regional and global peace and stability.
On his part, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri said he would try his best toboost the Vietnam-Moldova traditional friendship and cooperation. Heasked the Moldovan authorities to continue creating the best possibleconditions for the embassy to perform its tasks.
On theoccasion, the ambassador had working sessions with Moldova’s Ministry ofForeign Affairs and European Integration, Ministry of the Economy, andMinistry of Education, as well as participated in dialogues withVietnamese and Moldovan enterprises.-VNA
