Vietnamese airlines participate in Thai International Travel Fair 2025

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have joined 14 other airlines from around the world at the 30th Thai International Travel Fair (TITF), which is being held in Bangkok.

Bangkok (VNA) 𒆙- The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have joined 14 other airlines from around the world at the 30th Thai International Travel Fair (TITF), which is being held in Bangkok.

Organised by the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), the event has attracted over 1,100 exhibitors, including travel agents, hotels, restaurants, booking platforms, car rental service providers, and more from countries such as China, Japan, ASEAN nations, Iran, and Uzbekistan. Running from January 16–19, the fair aims to boost tourism growth and strengthen global travel networks in the post-COVID-19 period.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), described TITF 2025 as a promising start to the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year 2025” campaign, proposed by the Thai government to welcome 39-40 million international visitors.

Thapanee highlighted TAT’s plans to connect major tourist hubs with lesser-known destinations, ensuring a more balanced distribution of tourists and revenue between urban and rural areas. She also noted TAT’s close collaboration with media outlets, travel companies, and key industry players, including Agoda, Traveloka, Grab, and Thai Airways, to promote Thailand’s hidden gems.

At TITF 2025, Vietnam Airlines is showcasing Vietnam’s tourism potential with its frequent flights connecting Bangkok to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

Ngo Tri Hung, head of Vietnam Airlines branch in Thailand, emphasised the fair as an ideal platform to promote the airline’s services to Thai travelers. He added that it also enhances tourism exchanges, particularly during the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival and Thailand’s Songkran Festival in April.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung underscored the importance of Vietnamese enterprises’ participation in TITF 2025 to attract Thai tourists to Vietnam and strengthen travel ties between the two nations. He affirmed the Vietnamese Embassy’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese businesses in sectors such as aviation and tourism, helping them to thrive in the Thai market.

🅺 Expected to draw 225,000 visitors, the fair offers a vibrant platform for exhibitors from a wide array of industries, from tourism and hospitality to travel technology and cultural heritage. Domestic and international providers, along with representatives from hotels, airlines, travel agencies, and tourist attractions, are presenting exclusive travel packages, special deals, and insights into the latest trends in the industry./.
