Nguyen Minh Nguyet scored a double, both in the first half, while Maysa Jbarah of Jordan narrowed the gap in the second half at Mansalarthiri Stadium, Mandalay City, Myanmar.
The Vietnamese women easily set up their playing style over their rivals, who are ranked lower in the world standings.
Nguyet needed 18 minutes to grab her first goal, with a kick to the far corner.
When the clock came to the final second ahead of the interval, it was 2-0 for Vietnam, and it was also a close-range shoot-out by Nguyet, who had a perfect performance for the day.
Jbarah made it 1-2 for Jordan, 30 minutes after the break.
The goal came after a second of off-guard of the Vietnamese side, as the team pushed up their line with a view of winning more goals.
This was the second win for the team, after their 4-2 victory over the hosts last week.
Following three matches, Vietnam temporarily ranks second with six points, behind Chinese Taipei.
Their ranking could be changed after a clash between Thailand, the third-placed team, and Taipei late on September 20.
In the last match of the qualification on September 22, Vietnam will play Thailand.-VNA
