Vietnam wins ASEAN stamp design contest

Vietnam was declared the winner of the official stamp and postmark contest to welcome the ASEAN Economic Community, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Vietnam was declared the winner of the official stamp and postmarkcontest to welcome the ASEAN Economic Community, according to theMinistry of Information and Communications.

The Vietnamese design most closely reflected the ASEAN’s motto of “One vision, one identity, one community”.

The stamp and postmark will be officially issued this August 8 ineach ASEAN member country to celebrate the 48 th founding anniversaryof ASEAN.

The contest, organised by the Thailand Post withjoint efforts from the Posts of other nine ASEAN countries, received 30stamp designs and 25 postmark designs from all the ten ASEAN nations.
