HCM City (VNA) - Trade between Vietnam and Ukraine was valued at 35.5million USD last month, an increase of 22.2 percent year-on-year, according tothe General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s exports reached 24.6 million USD, which sent its trade surplussoaring to 13.8 million USD.
Vietnam exported 11 categories of products, with mobile phones and partstopping the list with a value of nearly 16 million USD, 76 percent higher than thesame period last year.
Plastic products ranked second, following a five-fold increase, to 512,800 USD.Pepper, cashews, tea, rubber products, and iron and steel were the other majoritems.
Vietnam primarily imported machinery, equipment and parts.
Trade is a top priority in the comprehensive partnership between the twonations.
Last year, their trade was worth 355.5 million USD, a 34.5 percent increase.
