Thailanddominated the match early and opened the score in the 14th minute. Onlyfour minutes later, Minh Di levelled the score at 1-1.
The tieremained level until late in the second half, with Viet Cuong and Cong Minhscoring a quick-fire double in the 73rd and 78th minutes to secure the win forVietnam.
Earlier, Vietnamdrew with Yunnan province 1-1 and lost to Sichuan province 0-1.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
