Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will attend the WorldTravel Market scheduled for November 6-8 in London,the UK.

World Travel Market London is the leading global event forthe travel industry, generating more than 2.8 billion GBP (3.66 billion USD) ofbusiness contracts between attendees. Now in its 37th year, this show attractsa global audience that shape the travel industry.

Over three days, the travel industry comes together asalmost 5,000 exhibiting destinations, technology and private sector companiesto find and network with 51,000 travel professionals, key industry buyers,journalists, digital influencers, students and tourism Ministers.

Attending the event is a chance for Vietnam to promote itstourism, gain an insight into market development trends and expand cooperationwith partners in the UK.

Covering an area of 252sq.m, the Vietnamese booth will focuson introducing visitors to the country’s tourist attractions and key productsthrough art performances, water puppetry, traditional music instrumentperformances and ao dai (traditional long dress) shows.

More than 10.47 million foreigners have visited the countryin the first 10 months of 2017, up 28.1 percent year-on-year with the biggestincrease of 32.8 percent reported in Asian visitors.

Vietnam aims for an increase of 30 percent in internationaltourist arrivals, or 13 million foreigners, this year.-VNA
