Vietnam to host Challenger Tour event

Vietnam will host the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour next year, announced the ATP.

HCM City (VNA) - Vietnam will host the Association of 🌊Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour ne🍌xt year, announced the ATP.

This will be the second time that Vietnam has hosted a tournament under the ATP Challenger Tour system.
This year, the tournament took place at Lan Anh Tennis Club in HCM City in October under the name Challenger Vietnam Open 2015. The 50,000 USD event featured 160 tennis players from around the world, including those in the ATP's top 300.
Vietnam's tennis stars Ly Hoang Nam and Nguyen Hoang Thien have already been given wild cards to the main rounds of both the singles and doubles categories. Nam rose two places to 913rd position in the latest ATP rankings on December 28.-VNA
