Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will cooperate with Japan to make careful preparation for a successful visit of the Japanese Emperor and Empress to Vietnam, contributing to bilateral ties and to peace, cooperation and develo♍pment of the region and the world, the Foreign Ministry spokesp🧸erson said.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the statement on September 14 in reply to reporters’ question regarding Japan’s announcement early the same day that the Japanese Emperor and Empress are likely to pay a visit to Vietnam in the spring of 2017.
“Vietnam welcomes Japan’s consideration of arrangement for the State-level visit of the Emperor and Empress to Vietnam next spring,” he said.-VNA
Historical and cultural beauties of Vietnam and Japan are being showcased at a festival in the central city of Da Nang to bring the two peoples closer to each other.
