Deputy PM Phuc highly valued the bilateralcooperation and exchanges between the two countries’ youth unions,especially their volunteer movement and cultural exchanges. He said theyouth unions and the young people play an important role in fosteringthe Vietnam-Laos special relations.
In addition, he hopesthe two unions will do their utmost to enhance the effectiveness oftheir joint programme s, whilst expanding cooperation to new areas.
For his part, the Lao youth union leader stressed that the workingvisit is an opportunity for both sides to review the traditionalrelationship established by two national leaders.
Inaddition, he asked that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU)will constantly help and support the LPRYU in training human resources,particularly its officials at all levels.
