At the six-day event that will wrap up on Oct. 24, female weighliftersNguyen Thi Hong, Chau Hoang Tuyet Loan and Dinh Thi Nga carried offthree gold medals in the 80kg, 100kg and 95kg categories, respectively.

Meanwhile, their teammate Le Van Cong broke the world’s record in themen’s 169.5kg category after taking one silver in the 167.5kg category./.
