– Sen.Lieut. Gen. Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’sArmy, received Colonel General V.B. Zarudnitsky, Chief of the Military Academyof the Russian Federation Armed Forces’ General Staff, in Hanoi on February 18.

At the reception, Zarudnitskyinformed his host on the outcomes of his talks with Vietnam's National DefenceAcademy. Accordingly, the two academies discussed a number of cooperationcontents, while learning about each other’s teaching facilities and syllabus.

Lauding the outcomes of the talks,Giang, who is also Deputy Minister of National Defence, recommended the twoarmies to further expand collaboration, thus contributing to the friendship,solidarity and traditional cooperation between the two nations and theirarmies.

He also took the occasion tohighlight the friendship and collaboration between the Vietnamese and Russianstates, people, and armies in the past as well as in their current nationalconstruction and protection cause.-VNA
