Hanoi (VNA) –🍌 The VietnamFootball Federation (VFF) signed a cooperation agreement with the Republic ofKorea (RoK)’s Football Association (KFA) in Hanoi on March 22.
Under the agreement, the two sides willfoster cooperation in regional and international football activities, exchangepersonnel and send more experts to the two countries’ football events. In addition, the two football organisationsagreed to send experienced trainers to support the national football academies,share experience in football management and regulations, as well as knowledgeon sport medicine and rehabilitation. At the signing ceremony, VFF President LeHung Dung said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing forms part ofthe State visit of RoK President Moon Jae-in to Vietnam. He highly valued the Vietnam-RoK footballcooperation, with various exchanges and training courses for national teams,among others. Coach Park Hang-seo and his assistants from the RoK have greatlycontributed to the silver medal of the Vietnamese squad at the Asian FootballConfederation (AFC) U23 Championship last January, Dung added. He also voiced his belief that the MoU willresult in more pragmatic and effective cooperation between the VFF and the KFA.
For his part, KFA President Chung Mong-gyusaid the deal will enhance Vietnam-RoK cooperation in personnel, young playertraining and other issues.

Vietnam’s football teams could achieve more success at the regional and international arena, said national team coach Park Hang-seo in an exchange programme with hundreds of Vietnamese students in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on February 11 ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).
Vietnamese footballers are working hard to realise new missions in 2018: attending the 2018 Asian Games (ASIAD), winning the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 and playing well in the final round of the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup, according to the Vietnam Football Federation.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
