The Vietnam – Republic of Korea Professional Boxing Tournament will take place on October 3 at Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City, according to organisers.

The Vietnam – Republic of Korea Professional Boxing Tournament will take place on October 3 at Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City, according to organisers.

Ten professional boxers from the two countries will compete at the event.

Vietnam will send Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi, Luu Thi Duyen, Tran Van Thao, Nguyen Van Hai and Nguyen Ngoc Hai to the tournament while the Korean side features Chan Mi Lin, Sul Gi Jum, Yo Han Bae, Seung Hoon Lee and Dong Hee Kim.

Each match will include six rounds, 3 minutes each for men and two minutes for women.

👍 The tournament was initiated following the Korean Boxing Federation General Secretary’s visit to HCM City in July 2015, aiming to assist Vietnam and HCM City in particular in developing professional boxing.- VNA
