Vietnam reports 39 more domestic COVID-19 infection cases

Vietnam recorded an additional 39 new domestically-transmitted COVID-19 cases in the past 12 hours to 6am on June 6, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Hanoi, June 6 (VNA) - Vietnamrecorded an additional 39 new domestically-transmitted COVID-19 cases in thepast 12 hours to 6am on June 6, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
Accordingto the ministry, ofthe new infections, 21 cases were detected in Bac Giang, 10 cases in Ho ChiMinh City, and 8 in Bac Ninh, all of them detected in concentrated quarantinefacilities.
Asof 6 a.m. on June 6, Vietnam had a total of 8,580 COVID-19 cases, of which7,029 were domestically transmitted and 1,551 imported cases.
Thereare 15 provinces that have gone through 14 days with no new cases recorded.
The MoH is calling on citizens to follow the 5K message, including khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection),khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (healthdeclaration), to help contain the outbreaks./.

♋ Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine production technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
