Hanoi (VNA) - No newcases of COVID-19 have been reported in Vietnam in the past 12 hours, said theMinistry of Health on April 11 morning.
The total amount of people who have been infected with the coronavirus remainsat 257, and more than half of them made a full recovery.
On April 10 evening, the ministry announced two new cases, one locallytransmitted and the other a returnee coming home from Russia.
Now, there are 113 people being treated for the disease at 16 medicalcentres across the country. Of those, 20 have tested negative once and eight twice.
Most patients carrying the disease are in the nation’s capital, which has seen120 people test positive. Of those, 58 have recovered.
In HCM City, 54 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and 40 havebeen treated and given the all clear.
Nine COVID-19 patients were released from hospital on April afternoon, bringingthe total recoveries nationwide to 144.
The authorities are urging people not to break social distancing rules, as manyappear to be flaunting regulations, particularly in the major cities of Hanoiand HCM City.
