Paris (VNA) – Vietnam continues to prioritise enhancing its relationswith France, especially its traditional friendship with the French CommunistParty, of which Vietnam’s late President Ho Chi Minh was one of foundingmembers.
The statement was made by Vietnamese Ambassador to FranceDinh Toan Thang during his meeting with National Secretary of the FrenchCommunist Party Fabien Roussel on July 12.
Thang briefed the host on the outcomes of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) as well as thecountry’s socio-economic development orientations and foreign policy in thecoming time.
He thanked leaders and members of the French Communist Partyfor supporting the CPV and Vietnamese people during the past struggle fornational independence and the current nation building and safeguarding cause.
