Vietnam Outreach supports kids in Nghe An

Vietnam Outreach on April 4 presented 153 million VND to 51 children whose relatives were killed in a recent landslide in Nam Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, central province of Nghe An.

With funding provided by the Australian organisation, the provincialFund for Children on April 4 conducted operations for 150 childrensuffering from deltoid muscle fibrosis and handed over 100 wheelchairsfor disabled kids in the province.

Since 2009,through the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, Vietnam Outreach hasfinanced operations for 300 children with deltoid muscle fibrosis and 60others with harelip and cleft palate, and given wheelchairs to 370disabled children in Nghe An.

Currently, more than30,000 children in the central province are living in extremelydifficult conditions, of whom nearly 13,000 are disabled and hundredsare in need of wheelchairs./.
