The National Innovation Centre (NIC), in partnership with US technology giants Qorvo and Cadence, on July 16 launched an integrated circuit design course to realise the target of training 50,000 engineers for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, who is accompanying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on an official visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK), has had a working session with the Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea (VINK).

The Ministry of Planning and Investment and the German Agency for International Cooperation or (GIZ) have jointly held a conference in Hanoi to discuss a report on the development of a set of criteria for innovative enterprises of Vietnam.

The second Vietnam Summit in Japan is set to be held virtually on November 20-21 under the endorsement of the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan and the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC).
