Politburo member and permanent member of the CPV Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong (R) and MPP Secretary General Amarbayasgalan (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member and permanent memberof the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat TranQuoc Vuong has stated that the Vietnamese Party, State, and people alwaystreasure their traditional friendship with the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP),the State and people of Mongolia.
During a reception in Hanoi on March 4 for MPP SecretaryGeneral Amarbayasgalan, Vuong said the visit affords the two parties’ leaders achance to lay an important foundation to foster their traditional friendshipand ties between the two countries in diverse areas.
He suggested that the two parties continue workingeffectively together at regional and global forums for the sake of peace, stability,and development in the region and the world.
Amarbayasgalan briefed his host on Mongolia’s political andsocio-economic situation, as well as the MPP’s activities, adding thatexchanges between the two parties contribute to intensifying the traditionalfriendship between the two parties, countries, and people.
Earlier the same day, Politburo member and head of the CPV CentralCommittee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh also held talks with theMPP Secretary General.
Both sides informed each other about the situation in eachparty and nation while discussing party building – especially in personnel,inspection, and political and ideological education work – as well as regionaland global issues of shared concern.
Member of the CPV Central Committee and head of its ExternalRelations Commission Hoang Binh Quan also held a working session with theMongolian delegation.
The two sides discussed orientations and measures to step upbilateral friendship and cooperation.
Later, they signed a memorandum of understanding on strengtheningcooperation between the two parties.
During the stay, the delegation held working sessions with leadersof the Hanoi municipal and Quang Ninh provincial party committees, as well as visitedseveral cultural establishments in Hanoi and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, HaLong Bay.–VNA
