Vietnam, Laos armies to tighten ties

The visit was made at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Vinh Phu.

At the meeting, Duc expressed his support for the results of thediscussion between the two countries’ General Logistics Departments toally Vietnam-Laos army hospitals and exchange experiences in servingnational defence, as well as on issues of mutual concern.

He affirmed the visit of Lieut. Gen. Phayvisit would help boostmeasures to implement cooperation plans between the two countries’Defence Ministries and armies, contributing to improving and buildingthe special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam-Laos Parties,Governments and people.

Lieut. Gen. Phayvisit thanked Deputy Defence Minister Le Huu Duc for his warm reception./.
