Hanoi (VNA) –♈ Le Hien Van, deputy head of the General Political Department of the People's Army, met with Bunlieng Sengphachian, head of the Lao respective body’s inner security department, in Hanoi on November 8.
Van acknowledged progress of bilateral defence cooperation, saying its effective outcomes have helped boost mutual understanding and strengthen military forces of the two countries.
He also lauded results of a recent meeting between his agency’s military security department and the Lao inner security department, expecting both sides to work closely together in the coming time.
Agreeing with his host, the guest considered the working session with the Vietnam’s military security department a valuable experience for his agency to fulfill its duties.-VNA
