Vietnam, Japan exchange experience in Party building

Hanoi (VNA) - Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President ofthe Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the CentralTheory Council, received a delegation of the JapaneseCommunist Party (JCP) in Hanoi on March 28.

Thang noted that the visit by the Japanese delegation, led by Ogata Yasuo, Vice Chairman of the Presidium of the JCP and head of its InternationalDepartment, demonstrated the friendship and close cooperation between the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) and the JCP.

He conveyed the regards of GeneralSecretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other senior Party leaders of the CPV to JCP Chairman ShiiKazuo.

Thang stressed that the theoretical exchange mechanismhas been a pillar of the relationship between the two Parties, and suggested thetwo sides closely coordinate with each other to contribute to diversifying the Vietnam-JapanExtensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia.

For his part, Yasuo conveyed the regards of JCPChairman Kazuo to Party General Secretary Trong, and congratulated Vietnam onits great, comprehensive achievements recorded under the leadership of the CPV,especially those made in COVID-19 prevention and control and economicdevelopment with a high growth rate.

He spoke highly of socialism building in Vietnam, whichputs people at the centre, and noted his belief that the CPV will successfullyimplement the resolution adopted at the 13th National PartyCongress.

Earlier the same day, the JCP delegation held talkswith a CPV delegation headed by Le Hoai Trung, member of the Party CentralCommittee and head of its Commission for External Relations.

They briefed each other on the situation of theirrespective Parties and countries, and foreign policy of each country, andexchanged views on the regional and international situation.

The officials concurred to maintain high-levelcontacts and meetings, step up the sharing of information and experience inParty building and socialism building, both theoretically and practically, bringinto full play the theoretical exchange mechanism, and coordinate with eachother at regional and international forums./.
