Budapest (VNA) – General Secretaryof the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong andHungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on September 10 witnessed the signing ofseven cooperation documents between the two countries.

The signing took place right after talks between the two leaders during the ongoingofficial visit to Hungary by Vietnamese Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong fromSeptember 8-11.

The inked documents include an inter-government agreement on judicialassistance in civil matters, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on defencecooperation between the Defence Ministries of the two countries, another MoU oncollaboration between the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and the HungarianMinistry of Innovation and Technology, and a plan on education cooperation inthe 2019-2021 period between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Trainingand the Hungarian Ministry of Human Resources.

The Hungarian Water Association also signed MoUs with the People’s Committee ofQuang Nam province on the implementation of the Quang Binh II clean watersupply project, with the People’s Committee of Vinh Long province on a watertreatment project in the province, and with the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoaprovince on a clean water supply project in the locality.-VNA
